What will disqualify me in becoming a model?
  • Previously done permanent make up
People who have had permanent make up done before are not good candidates for our student technicians. Although our graduates are highly educated and capable of performing permanent makeup procedures they have not been taught to perform on skin that has been previously tattooed. Many complications may be presented in which our students are not yet trained to remedy.  Models may need color correction and shape correction. Individuals who have had permanent make up done and color that has faded still are unable to become models the reason for this is because damaged or scared tissue in the area may be an issue.
  • Dermatitis / Skin Conditions
Individuals who have Psoriasis, rashes, severe acne, eczema, blisters, and glaucoma located in procedural areas are unable to be a model.
  • Pregnant or Nursing
Throughout all procedures students will be using epinephrine (a vasoconstrictor) and topical anesthetic. Both of these compounds are applied to open skin allowing into the bloodstream resulting in exposure to baby.
  • Underage
The state of Hawaii require individuals to be at least 18 years of age to recieve a tattoo.
